Appendix Rule K Updates Training

During the COVID-19 federal public health emergency (PHE), the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) provided flexibilities to the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) rules through what is called Appendix K; a standalone set of rules that may be used in emergency situations. With the ending of the PHE in May of 2023, these flexibilities ended 1/1/2024, resulting in changes to the OAC rules. In collaboration with ODM, PCG developed this training to cover the changes in OAC rules as they are related to the Ohio Home Care and MyCare waivers.
