Appendix K Rule Updates: Ohio Administrative Code Updates Effective 1/1/2024 - Verification Form

During the federal public health emergency (PHE) related to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) provided flexibilities to the Ohio Administrative Code (OAC) rules through what is called Appendix K; a standalone set of rules that may be used in emergency situations. With the ending of the PHE in May of 2023, these flexibilities ended 1/1/2024, resulting in changes to the OAC rules. This training will thoroughly cover the changes in OAC rules as they are related to the Ohio Home Care and MyCare waivers.
