Security Starts with You: Confidentiality, Social Media and Technology 2026 Annual Training Verification Form
As part of PCG’s contract with the Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM), we are required to conduct annual training for all staff working on the OH HCBS project. Please view this training by 6/19/2025.
Course Overview
This training reviews employees’ responsibilities for protecting confidential information, with a focus on HIPAA, the Minimum Necessary Standard, and cybersecurity best practices. It explains what Protected Health Information (PHI) is, who can access it, and how to distinguish between a HIPAA breach and an exception. The presentation also covers examples, email and phishing risks, proper use of work email and passwords, social media expectations, and emerging cybersecurity threats.
